In the third quarter of 2024, the top air travel apps on the Android platform in Oceania showed varied performance trends, as reported by Sensor Tower.

Virgin Australia saw a noticeable increase in weekly downloads, starting at around 4.8K in early July and reaching a peak of 7.7K in mid-August. Weekly active users followed a similar upward trajectory, climbing from 10.1K to a high of 13.1K in August, before stabilizing around 11.7K by the end of September.

Qantas Airways maintained a steady growth in downloads, beginning with 4.8K and peaking at 7.1K in August. Their active user base was robust, starting at 30.3K and reaching 34.8K in mid-August, before slightly declining to 32.6K by the quarter's end.

Jetstar experienced a consistent download rate, fluctuating between 4.2K and 4.9K throughout the quarter. Active users hovered around 6.8K to 7.1K, showing stability with minor fluctuations during the period.

Flightradar24 Flight Tracker recorded a moderate revenue flow, starting at approximately $6.5K and peaking at $7.1K in mid-September. Downloads were steady, with numbers ranging from 4.3K to 4.8K, while active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating slightly between 17.8K and 19.2K.

Finally, Air NZ showed an interesting pattern in downloads, beginning with 3K and spiking to 4.6K by late September. The active user count also increased noticeably, starting at 8.4K and surging to 10.3K towards the end of the quarter.
